I am an adjunct faculty member of Danville Community College in the Workforce Services Division. I work for the Regional Center for Advanced Technology and Training (RCATT) where my primary responsibility is instruction in the Microsoft Office suite. My interests and hobbies are varied and include sailing, computer technology, and gem cutting and jewelry design.
I have been using the Internet for over two decades. In fact, when I started using it, it did not even have graphics. In the "good old days" you had to know the Unix programming language to even get on the Internet. I'm happy that things have gotten easier and that I have an opportunity to share some ideas about Web design with my students.
